Remember this photo? I can finally share with you guys the little secret Laureen and I have kept these past few weeks. It’s our #PondsNoMakeUpLook video that’s now up on YouTube! ๐Ÿ™‚

This was a concept we have been talking about for a while and thought it would be fun to shoot.
People always ask us about our everyday make up so we thought might as well kill two birds with one stone and share our tips and tricks here.
Whenever we have work, we usually have to pile on the make up. So on our regular days we really like keeping it simple and fresh to let our skin breathe.
Since we also have very different skin tones and facial features we decided to focus on our individual routines to stay true to ourselves. So I chose to add colour to my face (using lip and cheek tint) since I can get pale from time to time and Laureen focused on opening up her eyes with some mascara, shadow and [eyebrow] pencil.
It’s actually always a bonus to get to work with her ’cause it’s always fun and there’s never a dull moment. It really just feels like we’re playing around.
TRIVIA: I was actually the one who introduced makeup into Laureen’s life and taught her how to put it on back when we were 15 ’cause I was just too ‘kikay’ for my own good and needed someone to join me in my young, girly moments.
We also rarely take ourselves too seriously which is why we’re practically laughing in every shot ’cause we’ll crack jokes and make fun of each other any chance we get. We tried our best to tame it down for the video or else you’ll just have too many gag reels to sort through.
Right after shooting the video, it was straight to Aracama where we both got to host the Ponds event as well and launch the new #PondsPearlCleansingGel to our fellow beauty bloggers ๐Ÿ™‚
When you believe in and enjoy what you do as much as we do, it never really feels like work.
I hope you like the short video we put together! Let me know if there are any other things you’d like to know too so we can make that happen for you guys ๐Ÿ™‚
