“Traveling—it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.” – Ibn Battuta, The Travels of Ibn Battutah
I couldn’t agree more. Every time I see a new place, I’m always so enthralled by every detail – the people, the architecture, the food. Then I go back home and get excited to share my experiences with you guys.
Here are some photos I took with The Sweet Escape during my recent trip to Stockholm.
I actually really love their concept of connecting people with photographers all over the world so you can go home with photos you know are good. I mean, as much as we would like to remember our trips in our minds, there’s nothing like a beautiful photo to remind you of that specific moment in time.
Travelling also allows me to play around with my wardrobe and wear things I wouldn’t usually wear back home – like this suede skirt I got from Romwe.
Suede can be quite difficult to wear on a tropical island as you’d probably expect so I brought the skirt to Sweden with me where I knew the winds would let it flow in all it’s glory! haha!
As usual, I underestimated the cold weather and ended up freezing my butt off in this outfit but I’m quite happy with how the photos turned out!
Don’t be surprised if you see me wearing this skirt over and over again. I quite love it right now & if you’d like one yourself, it’s on sale right now so I’d suggest you grab it before it runs out! Click here to check it out.
