Hey guys! You may have seen on Instagram a few photos last week from our #MFLifestyle launch at the Rockwell tent. Well, I’m very excited to share with you some pieces I chose for my space.
My love for all things beautiful and timeless extends far beyond my obsession with fashion and the clothes I wear. It also is a big factor when I choose pieces for my new home.
Sure you can go the plain old, boring route and just buy whatever is cheapest or is readily available, but I believe that my home is my sanctuary and is an extension of my personality so I want every corner to feel like me – because when I get home from a long day of work, I wanna feel comfortable.
I wanna kick my feet up on a couch I love and be surrounded by things that make me happy without having to break the bank.
And that’s why I’m so excited to share with you guys my journey towards the #MFLifestyle.
With Mandaue Foam, I am able to find stylish and classic pieces that are perfect for my home and best of all – totally affordable!
When it was my turn to collaborate with Mandaue Foam, I expressed the vibe and look I wanted for my living room, and this is what we came up with! There were so many pieces to choose from but ultimately I wanted to stick to my pastel colour-scheme with just tiny pops of colour here and there.
Like the red and blue in this corner – it contrasts all the muted colours of the room and livens the space up.
You can even do what I did and keep the couch plain while giving it some character with graphic throw pillows – which is a much more affordable way to add texture and colour to a room.
Even the painting was a perfect touch to liven the room up even more!
Let’s be honest, I was probably the most ‘kikay’ one in the room and my space really showed it.
With little details and accents like these, everyone knew which room was mine!
And I think that’s what made my space so much more special. The fact that people walked in and knew instantly this was mine.
I mean come on, the last thing you want when you wake up every morning is to feel like you don’t belong in your own home, right?! That’s horrible.
I want a space where I can thrive. Where I will constantly be inspired and want to create.
And where my friends will feel at home and cozy when they come over. Which is why I choose to stay involved in decorating my own space- cause at the end of the day, I’m the one who has to live in it!
A big thank you to Mandaue Foam for giving me the options to design my space exactly the way I want it to be.
I can’t wait to raid your show room and buy everything I need to finally feel at home in my new space. And so I can finally share photos form my home up on my blog too!
Time to go back and choose more items! Next on my list is a nice cozy mattress fit for a queen 😀 jk
